Course Quality Assurance (QA) + Editing (Rise • Canvas • LMS)
Quality assurance (QA) means checking your course for errors and polish—links, formatting, accessibility basics, consistency, and clear writing—before it goes live.
I help course teams publish faster with fewer issues, cleaner writing, and consistent, learner-ready modules—month after month.
What you get each month…
Copyediting + clarity improvements
Link/button/media checks
Formatting + consistency cleanup
Accessibility quick-check (headings, alt text presence, captions/transcripts if provided)
Issue log with recommended fixes
Monthly Retainer Packages:
Starter — up to 2 modules/mo or 4 hours
Core — up to 5 modules/mo or 10 hours (2-pass workflow)
Priority — up to 10 modules/mo or 20 hours (faster turnaround)
How it works
Start Here → share your platform (Rise/Canvas/LMS), module count, and deadlines.
I confirm scope + workflow → you’ll get a simple plan for the month (what I’ll review and how you’ll receive notes/fixes).
You get a QA issue log + polished modules → delivered on the agreed cadence and turnaround.
FAQ
What counts as a “module”?
A module is one Rise lesson, Canvas unit, or LMS lesson set (typically ~10–30 minutes of learner time). If a module is larger than expected, we’ll treat it as multiple modules or use your monthly hour bank.
What platforms do you work in?
Articulate Rise, Canvas, and most LMS course formats. If you’re using something else, I can usually adapt—tell me what platform you’re in on the Start Here form.
What’s included in QA (Quality Assurance)?
Links/buttons/media checks, formatting/consistency cleanup, copyediting for clarity and correctness, and an accessibility quick-check (headings/alt-text presence/captions if provided), plus an issue log with recommended fixes.
How does the workflow work—do you edit directly in the LMS?
Either way works. Some clients prefer I edit directly in Rise/Canvas; others prefer comments in a shared doc or issue log for their team to implement. We’ll choose the cleanest workflow for your setup.
What’s your typical turnaround time?
Depends on volume and complexity, but most batches are turned around within a few business days. Priority/rush options are available when capacity allows.
